NAILYMPIA MEXICO event moved to October 2021
The recent rise in Covid19 cases across Mexico has led the organiser, Dafne Fernandez, and its host of regional sponsors for Nailympia Mexico to postpone the event for 2020 in the interests of safety for all.
The coronvirus may be dissipating in some regions around the world, yet in others it is rising, while others deliberate over a second wave, which may or may not come. It is with this uncertainty in mind that the organiser and sponsors in Mexico have called the decision to postpone until 30-31 October 2021.
“It is with a heavy heart that myself and Dafe Fernandez have agreed to postpone this event for a year,” sighs Alex Fox, global director Nailympia Competitions. ” However, during our discussions it became clear this was the best route forward. We are both very sad to see it off the menu for 2020, but positive and excited for 2021, when we can, as a nail community, get excited about all events and projects as they spring to life post-lockdown.”
www.worldmeters.info cites Mexico as 12 in the global list of Covid19 cases (over 23,000 deaths) , the UK at 5 (over 42,000 deaths), USA at 1, Brazil at 2 with Estonia at 105 in the list with 1983 cases to date with 69 deaths.
