Personal biography: I am a person with a passion for the beauty industry, starting my career as a nail technician in the 90s. Under the guidance of mentor Tom Holcomb, I honed my skills through specialised courses & competitions. My competitive spirit & dedication fuelled my ambition to excel. Today, I am the principal at Norway's largest beauty school, elevating the status of nail art education. I take pride in transforming my passion for nails into a respected educational program. My hobby is my little cute Frenchie, George. And I love good times with friends & family❤️
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe in nail competitions because they provide a platform for nail techs to showcase their skills & creativity. By participating in competitions, techs are able to push themselves to new limits and strive for perfection. This not only improves their technical abilities but also boosts their confidence & motivation. Competing against other talented techs can be a great learning experience & a way to network with others in the industry. It also allows techs to receive feedback from judges & mentors, helping them to grow & improve their craft❤️ Overall, I believe that nail competitions are a valuable opportunity for artists to challenge themselves, hone their skills & ultimately become stronger & more successful in their careers.
Advice to competitors: My advice for competitors in nail competitions. Being strong mentally & physically is important when facing the pressure & challenges of a competition. Practicing regularly & honing your skills will help you to perform at your best on the day of the competition. Additionally, familiarising yourself with the competition rules is crucial to ensure that you are following guidelines & not risking disqualification. Understanding the judging criteria & requirements will help you to tailor your designs & techniques to meet the standards expected by the judges. In summary, staying strong, practicing diligently & adhering to the competition rules are key components for success in nail competitions. Good luck to all competitors❤️
