He has been on the largest stages as a nail artist, master educator, salon owner & celebrity artist. For over a decade he served as the Technical Adviser for OPI products, where he led the education, research & development team. He also has worked with other top nail manufacturers such as CND, Entity, Light Elegance, Odyssey & Joy Mia. In addition John hosts 'Cruise with the Nail Stars' education events with Royal Caribbean International cruise line. John holds the title of the 'world's longest nail' completion in 2013 held in Las Vegas.

Personal biography: I'm a father of two amazing kids & outside of my career I have several businesses. When I'm not working I do many things like tennis, karate, play in a rock band (drummer), take cruises & ride motorcycles.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I have competed for many years since the 90's - competing in 18 nail styles around the world. I believe doing nail competitions shapes your career & defines who you are as a person. It's not just something you do or enter, it's a way of life!
Advice to competitors: So much to say, let me sum it up by saying...just do it!
