Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe in pushing yourself to always be better. Competing gives you the chance to get critique from industry experts; something that is very different to taking courses. Competitions look for perfection, whereas courses get you salon & customer ready. They take you to another level & push you harder to learn techniques that aren't available in traditional nail courses.
Advice to competitors: Always listen, always research past results & scores & study the competition rules & requirements carefully as they provide very detailed explanations that can mean points being deducted if they aren't followed. Then be sure to wait & speak to your judge for the reasons behind their scoring & how you can improve. Also, be sure to find a model with exceptional nail beds. This contributes a huge amount to your finished look.
