Personal biography: Growing up, I often felt out of place, living in a world I didn’t quite understand. At 15, I found solace in modeling, which I pursued until I was 18. Joining a dance band during this time helped me feel more like a "normal" kid. My passion for music led me to sing with two bands - one focused on Pop & the other on Rap. I also spent time singing in a church choir until I became a mother in 2007. By 2009, I welcomed my second child & I'm incredibly proud of my two sons.
While pregnant in 2006, I began learning & practicing nail art. Since then, I've dedicated myself to working almost daily to achieve my dream of building my own salon, academy & business. This journey has been one of transformation & dedication, driven by my love for my family & my passion for my craft.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: Every person needs goals to develop, grow, and fulfil their passion for their work. For nail artists, competitions provide a powerful avenue to achieve this. Competitions empower you by allowing you to discover your true level of skill. They highlight areas where you may need more training & offer a chance to improve. Winning a competition brings a host of benefits: increased confidence, enhanced creativity, growth opportunities, valuable publicity, worldwide recognition, unexpected collaborations with brands, exciting projects, publications & the chance to work with trainers you admire. The list of opportunities is endless.
Advice to competitors: For beginners: Read the rules until you dream about them. Then train more & more. Train & learn from a international trainer/mentor that you admire.
For veterans: If you get 2nd place you have already lost. Don't be lazy! Train some more!
