Why did you choose to join the Nailympia circuit?: I chose the Nailympia platform because it is one of the largest & most professional stages in the nail industry. It brings together true masters of their craft, talented & ambitious artists whose energy is truly inspiring. It’s more than just a competition; it’s a strong community of nail technicians & artists where you can learn, grow & evolve. It was here that I first witnessed such an incredible level of artistic skill that truly inspired me to create my own work. This is a place where you don’t just showcase yourself, you constantly discover new dimensions of the profession.
What has winning at Nailympia done for your career & confidence?: Winning competitions gave a strong boost to both my career development & my self-confidence. I started gaining recognition within the professional community, began working as a judge & developed a deeper understanding of competition regulations. It also helped me significantly improve the level of detail in my work. Some of my pieces caught the attention of exhibition organisers, which opened the door for me to participate in exhibitions & lead masterclasses for diverse audiences. I’ve also started receiving requests from students who are interested in competing & want to explore this path themselves.

Career biography: After university, I started working at a bank & never even thought about nails. But one day, my mum suggested I take a nail course & I agreed; that was 10 years ago. I started doing nails at home just for fun, practicing on my mum & friends. With the first money I saved, I opened my first small studio & began working with many models, where I practiced my technique, speed & artistic skills. Soon, that studio grew into a full salon & I became a nail instructor. Later, I moved to New York, & after a year of hard work, I opened my own salon in Manhattan.
Personal biography: I usually enjoy nature, traveling with my family & extreme activities. Extreme sports & amusement parks truly inspire me & fill me with energy. I also love rock music & 80s hits. I'm passionate about detective stories & exploring different cultures, traditions & unique customs.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe in competitions because they help you grow creatively & take your skills to a whole new level. But it’s not just about competing, it’s also an incredible community where you’ll always find support, constructive feedback on your work, business advice, or simply the motivation you need. It’s a place where you can find friends, partners & endless inspiration. And of course, taking part in competitions is one of the best ways to improve your professional skills & grow as an artist.
Advice to other competitors: Compete for your own growth. Every time you step into the arena, you move closer to a stronger, more confident version of yourself. It’s not about perfection, it’s about the courage to learn, make mistakes, rise & become better. Competitions are about bravery — showing up, learning, falling, getting back up & coming back stronger. The real victory isn’t the trophy, it’s the growth. Surround yourself with those who inspire you & remember: the artist you admire once stood exactly where you are now - uncertain, but ready.
