Why did you choose to join the Nailympia circuit?: I joined Nailympia to experience & be part of the wonderful nail industry -the creativity, the art & the craftsmanship from artists around the world. Also to learn & to compete alongside the best.
What has winning at Nailympia done for your career & confidence?: It definitely gives a boost to my career as people actually see the achievements that I’ve made. More people to recognise my works & it definitely increases the potential of my business.
It has also boosted my confidence to the level that I know if I put my time, effort & passion into something, even with self-doubt in my mind, I can can create wonderful pieces of art.

Career biography: While was in high school, I came across a YouTube video of a very talented nail artist name Gemma Lambert, who is well known for her champion titles in the nail industry. I was impressed & decided this is the career I wanted to follow. After high school went straight to get my license & started my journey. And after 11 years, it’s still going strong, & I still love my career.
Personal biography: One of the reasons I chose nails as a career is because I came from an art background. I like to draw anything artistic in all forms.
Why you believe in nail competitions?: I believe that even though we are all born differently in life, we don’t need to compete & compare ourselves to each other. Just push your abilities, refine & perfect your skills & take up all the opportunities. Competitions will teach you how to discipline yourself to be humble & to always practice your skills.
Advice to other competitors: Don’t be afraid to try new techniques or something that is not the norm for you. If you are more into the nail art categories, go out there & take inspiration from anything you see.
